The Invitation you are about to receive works another way. In the Heart Adept’s voice, the words describe nothing. They summon:
First, feel the feeling in the center of your heart. And as you find that vibration, that rhythm deep inside the center of your heart — like the most powerful magnet in the universe, you call back your consciousness from outside of you, and feel it spiral back from every direction into the center of your heart, so that every fiber of your being begins to resonate to who you are, and anchor that.
Receive it as a summoning rather than a sequence. You are being led into the heart, the way a hand at your back moves you through a door you could not find alone. Let the voice do what description cannot. Allow your consciousness to spiral home, and let the felt sense arrive as its own consequence.
This is the first movement of the NEPH work, and it is why the School begins here. Before any teaching, before any degree, there is this — the gathering of the self into the heart, the return of a scattered consciousness to its center. You are already a member.
